Online voting for the People’s Choice is now open for the 2022 Tank of the Year contest, presented by Tnemec Company, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance protective coatings. The public can vote for their favorite water tank at www.tankoftheyear.com.

“This year’s contest is shaping up to be another record year for the number of nominations as well as unique designs,” said Scott Keilbey, director of sales – Water Tank Market. “We have over 350 water tank nominations of all varieties this year, from all over the US.”

Only one vote is allowed per person, but voters will be able to view the front-runners at any time when they revisit the site. Voting will be open for two weeks, closing on Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. CST.

After online voting has ended, the water tank receiving the most online votes will be named the “People’s Choice” tank and receive an automatic bid as a finalist for the official “Tank of the Year” title.

The People’s Choice winner and the 11 finalists selected by the Tnemec’s Tank Enthusiasts committee will be announced on Oct. 17. The 2022 Tank of the Year will be announced on Oct. 21. All finalists and nominees will appear in Tnemec’s 2023 water tank calendar, beginning with the Tank of the Year winner in January.
